How long does it take to receive my first issue?
Your magazine should arrive 8-13 weeks from the date of your purchase. Delivery times are approximate, please be patient.

The 8-13 weeks usually look like this: Once a order is placed, it takes one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped via standard mail.

For example, if your monthly subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in November, and the December issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the January mailing.

The number of times your magazine subscription publishes each year will determine when you will receive your first issue. For example, the first issue of a weekly magazine should arrive within 4 to 6 weeks of your order. The first issue of a monthly magazine should arrive within 8 to 13 weeks.

How much does Deekins charge for shipping?
Shipping and handling are free at Deekins, and there are no hidden fees or charges associated with the delivery of your magazine(s).

Where does Deekins deliver?
Deekins can deliver anywhere in the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). Deekins will deliver to APO and FPO addresses. Deekins does not deliver outside of the USA.

Should I order a New subscription or a Renewal subscription?
If you are not receiving the publication at this time, then you should order a New subscription. Renewals are for individuals already receiving current issues.

When should I renew my subscription?
We recommend renewing your subscription a minimum of three issues before your current subscription expiration.

Can I send a Gift Subscription to someone I know?
Absolutely! Deekins supports gift subscriptions. To purchase a subscription for someone other then yourself, add the item(s) to your cart, proceed to checkout, and then simply fill out the 'Shipping Address' with the address information of your gift recipient, and then fill out the 'Billing Address' with your personal address information. By specifying a different 'Shipping Address' than your own personal address, the subscription will be shipped to the gift recipient.

If I order a subscription as a gift, how far ahead of time should I order it?
If you order a magazine for a holiday or a special occasion, please allow 8-13 weeks for delivery of the first issue (delivery times are approximate).

If I order a subscription as a gift, will Deekins send the recipient a gift card?
At this time, Deekins does not support this.

How does a Renewal of my current subscription work?
When you place a renewal order, Deekins will add another year to the end of your current subscription - you will not receive double issues if you place a renewal subscription. To place a renewal subscription properly, ensure you provide your name and mailing information exactly as they appear on your current magazine mailing label. Your information will be matched and your subscription will be renewed automatically. Deekins will never cut your subscription short because you renew through us early.

Will any of my personal information be shared or sold to third party companies?
No, absolutely not. Deekins respects your privacy. We do not share or sell any of your personal information with third party companies. Please see our privacy and security policy for further information on this topic.

Will my magazine be forwarded to my new address if I move?
It is your responsibility to change your address directly with the magazine publisher, as Deekins does not handle address changes, and is not responsible for forwarding magazines. Find out how to contact your magazine publisher directly using our Magazine Contact Information Page.

Can I place a renewal order with Deekins?
Yes. You can renew all your subscriptions (no matter where you ordered them) through Deekins. Provide us with the delivery address exactly as it appears on your current magazine mailing label, and our convenient renewal features ensure you will not miss an issue. Please note that Deekins does not auto renew your subscription(s).

Will Deekins automatically renew my subscription(s)?
Unless you place a renewal order with us, we will never automatically renew your subscription(s) or charge your credit card / PayPal account.

How do I place an APO or FPO order?
During checkout, when you arrive at the Shipping and Billing page, please follow these steps when entering an APO or FPO address:

Enter the recipient's first and last name, as well as address in the relevant fields.
Enter "APO" or "FPO" in the City field.
If the recipient is stationed in the Americas please select "AA APO " from the “State” drop-down menu.
If the recipient is stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East please select "AE APO" from the "State" drop-down menu.
If the recipient is stationed in Asia or the Pacific please select "AP APO " from the "State" drop-down menu.
If the recipient is stationed with is associated with US Navy installations and/or ships please select "FP FPO " from the "State" drop-down menu.
Enter the zip code for the recipient.

How do I change the mailing address on a magazine subscription?
Should you need to update your mailing address after an order has been placed, please contact the magazine directly utilizing the contact information found on our Magazine Contact Information Page.

My order has a status of 'shipped', what does that mean?
If the status of your order has been updated to 'shipped', the magazine publisher is now processing your order. You should receive the first issue of your magazine subscription(s) eight (8) to thirteen (13) weeks from your subscription purchase date - delivery times are approximate, please be patient.
